Joanie Ulliac
My passion for volleyball started in the 6th grade at Ecole Beausejour. I played all throughout junior high and high school with Ecole Beausejour Lynx and the Plamondon Ligers. Also, I worked diligently on my own time to master my skills. After graduating, I had the opportunity to play for the Nait Womans Volleyball Team in 2012-2013 as a setter. That year, we made history by taking first place at provincials, and receiving the sportsmanship award at nationals. It was one of the proudest moments of my athletic career.

Matayla St.Jean
I have been in love with the game ever since I began to play in the seventh grade. My first experiences in volleyball were with the Lynx of École Beauséjour in Plamondon. I was then apart of the Warriors volleyball club of Lac La Biche for my first ever club season. I continued to play with the Lynx during the school seasons, while playing club with the various teams created out of Plamondon; Plamondon Madbour, Plamondon Ligers and Espoir Alberta. My grade 11 club season is one worth noting, as I was apart of the first ever Francophone team to compete in an Alberta Volleyball club season. This team played in tournaments throughout the 2011 club season then continued to train during the summer in preparation for the Jeux de la Francophonie Canadienne (Canadian Francophone Games), which took place in Sudbury, Ontario during the month of July. After my final season with Lynx in 2011, followed by a season with Plamondon Ligers in 2012, I pursued a post-secondary volleyball career with the LaCité Coyotes of Ottawa in the OCAA. After one season in Ontario, I returned to Alberta where I now play for the Augustana Vikings in the ACAC.
